Dustin Shoemaker persevered through the cold, hunger and pain to raise awareness for a rare form of liver disease that his daughter Hannah suffers from known as Biliary Atresia.

He says, "After seeing her suffer we wanted to do what we could to help out; you can't beat a father's love for his daughter."

In addition to breaking the record, Shoemaker hopes to raise funds for Biliary Atresia research.

Dustin Shoemaker is just a normal guy, but when his 2-month old daughter, Hannah, was diagnosed with a rare liver disease he decided to do something extraordinary.

He founded a charity, Helping Hands for Hannah , in conjunction with the American Liver Foundation. His personal mission is to build awareness and funding for billiary atresia by taking pledges and donations. The cause of this very rare bile duct disease is still unknown.

The world record for the Most miles traveled on a snowmobile in 24 hours was sponsored by HMK, Ski-Doo, Hillers Pine Haven, Hiawatha Motor Inn, Happy Trails RV, SoftWear Systems and Burandt's Backcountry Adventures.
