 Most people receiving a chair massage in 24 hours - Romano Sandee sets world record
 GRONINGEN, Holland -- Massage therapist Romano Sandee gave massages for 24 hours at a stretch for a total of 141 clients - setting the new world record for the Most people receiving a chair massage in 24 hours .

    ‘They included several people visiting our country from other places’, explains Romano . ‘I had tourists coming in for a massage from Russia, Croatia and Australia.’

   The length of the massages varied widely, from five minutes when people were queueing up to a full hour when things were quiet.

   There were a couple of anxious periods when it was difficult to find people for the massage chair.
    ‘Around six in the morning it was particularly quiet’, says Romano Sandee . ‘That was only to be expected, of course, but you still hope there’ll be some city-dwellers making an early start who’ll drop in for a massage.’

   The new world record for the Most people receiving a chair massage in 24 hours has been officially recognised by the World Record Academy.

   The aim was to make more people aware that in these busy times a little extra relaxation is just what we need. An event like this allows people to sample a bit of relaxation without committing themselves.
