Aaron Guiver, 19, who works in the council’s
contact centre said: “It was a lot of fun although the players
resembled the living dead as the hours passed.
"It really was a case of willing minds
and failing bodies by the end but we made it and broke the
record.
Denise Saliagopoulos, Surrey
County Council
"Both teams should be congratulated for
their fantastic efforts in raising money for two such good
causes. Well done to everyone involved."
The previous Guinness world record holders,
16 members of a central London church, played for 26 hours.
