Fastest violinist: Ben Lee breaks Guinness world record (VIDEO)
LONDON, UK -- Ben Lee, 32, has broken his own Guinness world record
after playing The Flight of the Bumblebee on the electric violin in 58.05 secs (an average of 15 notes per second),
at Norwood Productions, London, UK, setting the new world record for the Fastest violonist,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.
Photo: Ben Lee's violin playing skills have helped him to break few Guinness world records. Lee, 32, holds the World Record for being the world's fastest violinist, having performed Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee in 54.24 seconds.

The Guinness world record for the fastest violinist was set by Ben Lee (UK) who played "Flight of the Bumblebee" in 54.24 sec at Norwood Productions, London, UK.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the fastest electric violinist, set by Ben Lee (UK) who played "Flight of the Bumblebee" in 58.515 sec at Rogue Studios, London, UK.
Ben has held the Guinness world record for fastest violinist
several times and is one of the most committed competitors for this category.
Mr Lee, one half of electric string duo Fuse, said: 'It's taken tens of thousands of hours of practice to reach this speed. I've been challenging myself to play as fast as I can since I was five years old. I can only get faster from here.
'It wasn't until I had a serious bike accident and nearly lost the ability to play that Linzi Stoppard, my music partner, challenged me to enter the Guinness World Records as the world's fastest violinist.'
