There were 2150 group workouts taking place, and 15,180 people got active that day in a variety of ways, helping 30 needy kids each benefit from free healthy meals through the Project 10 charity. In total 11 countries were involved in the world record attempt.

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest hula hoop workout consisted of 407 participants and was achieved by North Lanarkshire Leisure LTD with Powerhoop UK/Innertrak LTD (UK) in Motherwell, UK, on 2 March 2013.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest dance fitness class; it involved 6,630 participants and was achieved at an event organised by the Gobierno Delegacional de Iztapalapa (Mexico), at the Plaza de la Constitución, Mexico City, Mexico, on 25 March 2012.
To be eligible for the world record, organizers at each location had to film the session, take pictures of participants and provide a sign-in sheet.
ViSalus
, recognized in 2012 for the World's Largest Simultaneous Flash Mob
with celebrity Alfonso Ribeiro, was determined to break another world record with this historic event that anyone could be a part of by simply showing up.
This event also included a strong charity component. For every person who participated in the Jan. 3rd event, ViSalus will donate 30 kids meals through their PROJECT 10™ Kids program.
Everyone who attended the fun walk/run had a great time, and look forward to the next event.
