   Largest Zumbatomic class: Warrick County breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

Newburgh, IN, USA -- On Friday, Sept. 20, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students from across the county stood on Castle South Middle School's football field to make history; after a 30-minute class, with 2,117 people, Ward and the Warrick County School Corporation were the new record holders of the Largest Zumbatomic Class, while raising awareness for the Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest Zumbatomic® class involved 2,117 participants, achieved by Jennifer Ward and the Warrick County School Corporation (both USA) in Newburgh, Indiana, USA, on 19 September 2014.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest Zumba® class; it involved 6,671 participants and was achieved by Dinaz Vervatvala (India) at Peoples' Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, India.

    On Friday, Sept. 20, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students from across the county stood on Castle South Middle School's football field to make history, The Warrick News reported.

   The Guinness World Records adjudicator said that the previous Guinness World Records' record of 1,121 people was set in Winston-Salem, N.C. in February 2013.

  After a 30-minute class, he announced that with 2,117 people, Ward and the Warrick County School Corporation were the new record holders of the Largest Zumbatomic Class.
