Largest coffee break: Folgers breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)
NEW YORK, NY, USA -- In honor of National Coffee Day, Folgers asked coffee fans around the globe to pledge to participate online to help break the Guinness World Recortds' record for the biggest coffee break; 104,291 pledgers

The Guinness World Records' record for the Largest simultaneous coffee party was set by Macmillan Cancer Relief (UK); they broke their record of the previous year for the largest coffee morning with a total number of 576,157 people attending over 26,000 meetings simultaneously throughout the UK.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest coffee party in a single venue; it involved 8,162 participants and was set by Krüger GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) at the Jugendpark in Cologne, Germany.
From Sept. 26 to Oct. 10, Folgers asked fans to take a pledge on their Facebook page and pour a mug of their favorite Folgers coffee.

Folgers coffee has been around since 1850 and was the first in the drip coffee and instant coffee industries, the Examiner.com reported.
