The Guinness world record for the longest singles pool marathon is 53 hr 25 min, set by Brian Lilley and Daniel Maloney (both USA) at VFW Post, North Carolina, USA.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the youngest player to win a pool World Championship, set by Chia-ching Wu (Taiwan, b. 9 February 1989) aged 16 years 121 days when he won the title at Kaohsiung, Taiwan

The previous world record was was two feet, six inches tall but Anthon's record-breaking shot was five feet, three-eighths inches tall.

The trick, Anton explains, is to place three balls in a triangular fashion on the pool table. A triangle is placed on top of that, then three more balls, another triangle, etc.

"I shoot the cue ball and pocket one of the bottom balls into the corner and have the cue ball replace it without the structure falling down!"

Chef Anton is president/CEO of Tricks of the Trade, Inc .
