Hottest pizza: Saltdean pizza breaks world record despite Guinness' rejection
Saltdean, East Sussex, UK -- Paul Brayshaw, 32, who owns Paul's Pizza in Saltdean, West Sussex, has created the Saltdean Sizzler, contains the flaming ghost pepper, which is one of the fieriest in the world, as well as mozzarella, a herb sauce and a tomato base; it reaches 3.2 million Scovell on the heat scale,
setting the new world record for the Hottest pizza,

The Guinness world record for the most pizzas made in one hour by a team is 837 and was achieved by staff from Domino's Pizza Australia and New Zealand at the Domino's Pizza store in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest collection of pizza-related items; it belongs to Brian Dwyer (USA) with 561 different items from all over the world.
'
I wanted to open a pizza place myself and being a lover of spicy food I thought I would include a challenge on the menu,' said creator of the fiery lunch and restaurant boss Paul Brayshaw.
"The pizza starts off a nice red tomato colour, but adding the sauce turns it into an evil black/red."
"Guinness World Records say the Saltdean Sizzler pizza is too hot to enter the record books" The Argus reported.
"The team at Guinness World Records said dramatically breaking the heat record, which Mr Brayshaw understands used to be about 1 million Scovell, has forced them to reconsider the category.
"A spokeswoman said: "Guinness World Records does no longer accept applications for this record category.
"Guinness World Records has decided to stop monitoring this category based on the heat of a food as the way to break it is by increasing the heat and this will inevitably reach a point where the foodstuff is no longer able to be edible and enjoyed as that foodstuff."
On the other hand, maybe Mr Paul Brayshaw should be grateful that World Record Academy didn't 'follow the money' in Dubai or elsewhere and rather recognize real achievements from ordinary people... like him.
