  Most people crammed on a bus: Polish students set world record (Video)

KIELCE, Poland--Students from Norwid High school in Kielce, southern Poland, managed to beat the Guiness world record and fit 246 persons into a city bus - setting the new world record for the Most people crammed on a bus (unmodified), according to World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness world record for the most people crammed on an unmodified bus is 229 and was achieved by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Krakow University of Technology in Krakow, Poland.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people crammed in a smart car: 20, achieved by the Glendale Cheerleading Team (USA) at The Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA.

  It was not the first record beaten by these teens. They have also managed to gather the most people dancing Polonaise at one place and have plans to beat more records in the future.

  The record attempt was part of the school's celebrations for World Earth Day on Sunday.

 "We want to promote public transport," said headmaster Rafal Nowak.
