  Most cars pulled by one man: Simon Plant breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

DERBY, UK -- The Guinness World Recods' world record for "most cars dragged by one man" has been smashed by a South Derbyshire builder; Simon Plant, from Findern, pulled 14 Ford Fiestas over a distance of 18 feet and two inches , setting the new world record for Most cars pulled by one man, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the most cars pulled by an individual is 13 and was achieved by Zsolt Sinka (Hungary), in Budapest, Hungary, on 20 August 2014.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the heaviest house pulled by an individual; it weighed 35.9 tonnes (79,145 lb) and was achieved by Kevin Fast (Canada) who pulled the house a distance of 11.95 metres (39 ft 2.47 in) in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, on 18 September 2010.

   A British man pulled 14 cars a distance of 18 feet and 2 inches to break a Guinness World records' world record and raise money for a cancer charity.

  Simon Plant, 42, of Findern, England, pulled a rope attached to 14 Ford Fiestas at Motorpoint in Derby and moved the line of cars 18 feet and 2 inches to break the world record of pulling 12 cars a distance of 15 feet.

  The cars had a combined weight of about 22 tons.

   The record attempt doubled as a fundraiser for MacMillan Cancer Support. Plant said his former trainer, Errol Etherington, died in 2009 following a battle with cancer.
