  Largest Parade of Hearses: Hearse Car Club sets world record (Video)

HELL, MI, USA -- During the annual Last Rides Reunion Hearse Show hosted by Just Hearse 'N Around , a car club dedicated to hearses, a parade of 51 hearses gathered in Hell (organizer: Steve Frey) - setting the new world record for the Largest parade of hearses, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the largest parade of electric vehicles consisted of 218 vehicles and was organised by the Bay Harbor Foundation (USA) at the Bay Harbor Vintage Car and Boat Festival in Bay Harbor, Michigan, USA.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest parade of 4x4 vehicles: it consisted of 3,529 vehicles and was organized by 4Wheels Events (Puerto Rico) between La Milia de Oro and La Guancha in Puerto Rico.

  Hosted by Just Hearse 'N Around , "Hells' best car club," and Screams Ice Cream & Halloween store, the annual Last Rides Reunion Hearse Show attracted a total of 51 often highly customized rides.

  A total of 50 were required to set the new record and with 49 registered it appeared as though the club wouldn't hit the mark, but before the parade of hearses began a 50th showed up, followed by one more from the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes – the only working hearse in the group.
