  Largest parade of MGs: Lancaster Insurance breaks Guinness World Records record

Rockingham Circuit, UK -- Lancaster Insurance is thrilled to announce its status as an official world record title holder for the 'Largest parade of MGs'; the parade took place on Saturday 11th April at Rockingham Circuit in Corby, Northamptonshire; where 144 MG owners and lovers united to take part in a world first , according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest parade of Mercedes-Benz cars consisted of 257 vehicles participating in an event organised by Nicolette and Peter Mohr (Germany) at the Nürburgring race circuit, Germany, on 5 July 2014.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest parade of electric vehicles; it is 507 and was organized by San Francisco BayLEAFs, Electric Auto Association Silicon Valley and SAP (all USA) in Cupertino, California, USA, on 20 September 2014.

    Lancaster Insurance is thrilled to announce its status as an official world record holder for the 'Largest parade of MGs'.

    The parade took place on Saturday 11th April at Rockingham Circuit in Corby, Northamptonshire; where 144 MG owners and lovers united to take part in a world first.

    The parade took 'pole position' on the Oval Track, the UK's only banked Oval and Europe's fastest motor racing circuit, with an array of classic and modern MGs in attendance.

   Richard Morley, Lancaster Insurance's Operations Director comments: "We're immensely proud to have set a brand new world record title with the help of MG enthusiasts from all over the country! This would not have been possible without the support of the MG community. We are thrilled to have created a piece of history as a group."
