312 Alfa Romeo owners turned up at the dealership in the Longmead Business Park , one of them having driven more than 800 miles from Bathgate in Scotland to be there.

Karen Finn , customer care and marketing manager at Allams , said: “The sun was shining for a fantastic record day and we’d like to say a big thank you to all those involved in making it so special, especially to the drivers, some of whom came a long way to take part.

“The huge display of these beautiful and sporting cars is the perfect way to celebrate the Alfa Romeo centenary year.”

To meet official requirements, the Largest Alfa Romeo Parade needed to be continuously moving from start to finish, have no more than two cars’ length between each vehicle at any time, and have all drivers fully registered beforehand.
Video cameras were positioned along the route as well as at both the start and finish lines to assist with the verification.

The previous Guinness world record for the Largest Alfa Romeo Parade was 200.
