   World's First Safety Truck: Samsung's Safety Truck sets world record (VIDEO)

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- Samsung created the Safety Truck, a custom big rig equipped with a camera and four TV monitors that allow drivers who are following to see through the 18-wheeler; this initiative was created by Leo Burnett / Buenos Aires for Samsung's Argentinian corporate office to promote road safety" and sets the world record for the World's First Safety Truck, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest parade of dumper trucks involved 56 trucks and was achieved by Dumper Team Näser (Germany) at Wildenfels, Germany, on 16 September 2012.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest parade of pickup trucks consisted of 638 classic pickups in an event organized by the Asociacion de Autos Clasicos de Saltillo A.C. and the Municipality of Saltillo, in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, on 12 July 2015.

Samsung created the Safety Truck as a way to make driving behind an 18-wheeler a less dangerous task.

    By putting a wireless camera on the front end of a semi-trailer and monitors on its back end, Samsung can show drivers cruising behind the Safety Truck what lays ahead.

     "This allows drivers to have a better view when deciding whether it is safe to overtake. Another advantage of the Safety Truck is that it may reduce the risk of accidents caused by sudden braking or animals crossing the road," Samsung said in a blog post.

    The South Korean company said it tested the Samsung Safety Truck in Argentina, which has a high number of two-lane roads that are frequented by semi-trailers.
     To test the Safety Truck prototype, Samsung teamed up with a client in the South American country.

    Currently, the prototype truck built is no longer operational. So far Samsung has been able to confirm that the technology works and that this idea can definitely save the lives of many people.

    The company is now working with Argentina's government and non-governmental organizations there so that the Samsung Safety Truck can comply with all protocols and receive any necessary permits and approvals.
