  Largest hi-fi system: AeroDream ONE sets world record (Video)

BERLIN, Germany -- At IFA International conference in Berlin, Jean-Michel Jarre unveiled the AeroDream One, a music system from Jarre Technologies that kicks out 10000W, is 11-foot (3.5-metres) tall and costs $562000 , setting the world record for the Largest hi-fi system, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the largest online music playlist was set by Myspace.com which has a published playlist of more than 200 million tracks, with 500 new artists being added each week.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the highest capacity digital music player, set by the Archos 5 Internet Tablet – with a massive 500 GB, thanks to a built-in hard disk drive.

  The electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre unveiled "the largest hi-fi system in the world" with ademonstration of its awesome power.

  For Jean-Michel Jarre the AeroDream's significance is about more than making a big noise — albeit a lush, crystal clear and beautifully balanced one. "In recent years, we have lost that emotional link with sound," he said, speaking exclusively to IFA International before the AeroDream launch. "We are paying less attention to the way we listen to music. I think it's time to restore that emotional link while creating the ideal hi-fi system for the 21st century."

  Each AeroDream One is custom-made and takes six months for delivery.

  This behemoth comes from a company created by Jean Michel Jarre, a man best known for electronic music, over-the-top shows with laser displays and luxurious flowing hair.

 The AreoDreamOne will be available in three different colors, white, black and chrome and it will retail for $560,000.
