  Longest whip cracked: Adam Winrich breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

   NEW YORK, NY, USA -- Whip expert Adam Winrichbroke the Guinness World Record for the longest whip crack ever recorded; he managed to send a wave down the length of a 238 foot long manila rope, resulting in a crack all the way at its end, thus setting the new world record for the Longest whip cracked, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records world record for the most people playing whipping tops simultaneously is 507 and was achieved by the People's Government of Tumen City and Yanbian Morningpost (both China) in Tumen City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, China, on 17 February 2011.

     Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most drink cans broken with a whip in three minutes; it is 23 and was achieved by Adam Winrich (USA) on the set of Lo Show Dei Record, in Milan, Italy, on 11 April 2009.

     Whip expert Adam Winrich broke the Guinness World Record for the longest whip crack ever recorded, The Awesomer reports.

   He managed to send a wave down the length of a 238 foot long manila rope, resulting in a crack all the way at its end.

    "This is the 21st World Record I have set, this time for the longest whip ever cracked. The whip is 238 feet 3 inches, made mostly from manila rope. I also set this record back in 2006 at 216 ft.

     "Nathan Griggs in Australia has a whip that's around 260 feet, but he hasn't used his whip to set an official record yet, so I figured I'd sneak this one into the record books before he makes an official attempt.
