 Longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire: South African stuntsmen break Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

Parys, South Africa -- Daredevils Enrico Schoeman and Andre de Kock successfully managed to navigate a 120 metre fire tunnel on Friday as they attempted to beat their own Guinness World Records' world record; they performed the stunt at this year's Rhino Rally in Parys, setting the new world record for the Longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire is 103.09 m (338 ft 2.65 in) and was achieved by Andre De Kock and Enrico Schoeman (both South Africa) in Vaalwater, Limpopo Province, South Africa, on 10 August 2012.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people firewalking consecutively is 608 people and was achieved by Eastbourne Scouts, in Eastbourne, Wellington, New Zealand.

   Daredevils Enrico Schoeman and Andre de Kock successfully managed to navigate a 120 metre fire tunnel, setting the new world record for the Longest motorcycle ride through a tunnel of fire, The Citizen reported.  

  The structure's skeleton was made from steel with cardboard wrapped along the sides. It was soaked in diesel and petrol and set alight. The entire tunnel had to be on fire while the duo drove through for the record attempt to be recognised.

  The air inside the burning tunnel is superheated and should anything had gone wrong, there would have been little chance for the firefighters to intervene.
