During the gruelling 11 hour stint Guy tackled body boarding, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, snorkelling, sea kayaking, skim boarding, swimming, yacht chartering, power boating, jetskiing, RIB-riding, ringo-ing, wake surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, pedaloes, electronic boating, dinghy sailing, Sunseeker yachting, catamaran sailing and wake boarding.

"I'm more tired than I thought I would be. To do so many sports in a day is immense, rushing between them and coordinating everything," he claims, adding that the wide range of facilities in the area helped him to achieve this.

The challenge was set up by tourism officers from Bournemouth and Poole. Cribb went waterskiing and bodyboarding along the ten-mile stretch of coastline between Bournemouth and Poole.

Mr Cribb, who is 13 times UK windsurfing champion, said: "It's a Poole and Bournemouth record, I can't really claim it for myself. It's all about the fact that you can do so many sports in this area.

"Perhaps some of the big coastal cities like Sydney could potentially have all these but probably not within a 10-mile coastline."

Cribb has windsurfed for more than 20 years, first becoming the UK youth champion in 1988 and in 2008 becoming the first person to windsurf across the Channel, 70 miles from Cherbourg to Poole.
