Oldest bride and groom: California couple sets world record (Video)

The Guinness world record for the Oldest couple to marry - aggregate age was set by Francois Frenandez and Madeleine Francineau exchanged marriage vows at the rest home Le Foyer du Romarin, Clapiers, France, at the age of 96 years 290 days and 94 years 201 days, respectively. Total aggregate years between them at the time of the wedding ceremony was a record 190 years 126 days.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Most married Holywood stars, set by Lana Turner, Mickey Rooney, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Elizabeth Taylor and Georgia Holt, have each married eight times.
Lillian Hartley, 95, and 98-year-old Allan Marks have finally tied the knot after "living together in sin" for 15 years.
The two, who were both widowed, met at a temple in Palm Springs 18 years ago and have been "living together in sin," as Lillian joked, ever since.
The two, who call themselves the "Romeo and Juliet of senior citizens," have lived 191 years, 126 days between them.
I don't know what will happen. I want to be together for all eternity, and I'm not taking any chances," the bride said of her newlywed status.
The couple - a widow and widower - first met in Palm Springs in 1994 when she was 78. Hartley liked Marks' compliment about her dress but told him it was "just an old rag."
"I'm not deeply religious, but I just think it was meant to be," she said, according to the Desert Sun.
"I didn't want a relationship - I enjoyed my freedom - but he got me."
But the couple never got around to marrying, preferring to spend their time traveling instead.
The short civil ceremony took place on February 29 in Indio, about 42km east of Palm Springs.
Riverside County Clerk's Office Deputy Commissioner of Marriages Yvonne Cruz, who performed the ceremony, said Hartley and Marks' love was evident from the moment they walked in.
"When they came to my window, I spoke to her first and she says, 'I want to marry this man,'" Cruz recalled. "He puts his arm around her waist and says, 'I want to be with her for the rest of my life.' And she says, 'I want to be together forever.'"
Cruz, who has officiated thousands of marriages over the past seven years, including one two years ago for an 82- and 83-year-old, said Marks was "one of the most romantic grooms" she'd ever seen, at any age.
"She told us that he tells her he loves her at least three or four times a day," Cruz said.
