Most Expensive Diamond Tattoo
- jeweler Yair Shimansky sets world record
CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- South African
jeweler Yair Shimansky
has come up with a temporary
tattoo made completely out of 612 half-carat diamonds which
the nifty price tag of $924,000 and sets the world record
for the Most
Expensive Diamond Tattoo

is valued at 7.2 million
South African rands, or around 924,000 US dollars, and the
luxury jeweler has considered making similar tattoos available
at any of their eight South African or four international

The jeweler introduced the ornate
floral diamond design on brand model Minki van der Westhuizen
- who spent more than eight hours having the 612 diamonds
encrusted on her skin using a special water-based adhesive.

by Shimansky, created especially for the on going World Cup
