  Longest Marathon Watching TV: CraveTV breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

TORONTO, Canada -- Bell Media's promotional campaign for the launch of its new subscription on-demand video streaming service, CraveTV saw four "Cravers" break the Guinness World Records mark for the Longest Marathon Watching TV; Blake Cronyn, Jasmin Shim, Cam Healy, and Lisa Matlock successfully completed a 91-hour marathon viewing session in a highly visible, fully-functional living space situated at Bell Media headquarters in Toronto, setting the new world record for the Longest Marathon Watching TV, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The previous Guinness World Records' record for the longest marathon watching television is 90 hours and was achieved by Erik Pettersson (Sweden) at Viaplay, Stockholm, Sweden, from 5-9 May 2014.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people watching TV underwater; it was achieved by 114 participants in an event organised by Wet Wrecks at Underwater Studios in Basildon, UK, on 1 April 2009. The participants watched England's World cup qualifier vs. Ukraine.

  Blake Cronyn, Jasmin Shim, Cam Healy, and Lisa Matlock successfully completed a 91-hour marathon viewing session in a highly visible, fully-functional living space situated at Bell Media headquarters in Toronto.

   In all, the Cravers watched 169 complete episodes of some of CraveTV's best programming, including ORPHAN BLACK, CHEERS, SEX AND THE CITY, and more.

    Previously, the Guinness World Records' record-holder for longest marathon-watching television was Erik Pettersson from Stockholm, Sweden who reached 90 hours earlier this year.
