The Guinness World Records' record for the largest gathering of plush toys is 5,884 and was achieved by the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida (USA) at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida, USA.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest collection of wind up toys; it is 1,042 toys and belongs to William Keuntje (USA), in Landing, New Jersey, USA.

"We are extremely happy to have set this World Record through one of our strong brands in this region - TANG. This is the second Guinness world records achievement for Mondel?z International in the region," said Mr. Vishal Tikku, Area Director for Mondel?z International in the Middle East.

"Both records have had a strong social element involving donations to the under privileged. Through TANG's 'Do Good' campaign we went a step further by encouraging our loyal consumers to join a social cause, and thus help instill virtues of generosity and a selfless spirit among children."

TANG celebrated the achievement with a Finale Event in Dubai, which was attended by NGO partners, along with members of the media, senior officials from Mondel?z International and special guests.

The 'Do Good' campaign was launched earlier this year by TANG at a press conference also attended by the charity partners and called for children to participate by donating toys in different ways, thereby making them agents of change.

Toys were donated by logging onto www.tangdogood.com and earning points by playing fun-filled games.

Using these points, children were able to donate a virtual toy. For every virtual toy donated, TANG purchased an actual toy and donated it to the agreed charities on behalf of the child. Parents and kids also made personal toy-donations at TANG donation centers, which were set up in malls during the campaign period.

The toys were collected during January to May and donated to children within 24-hours.
