  Most Iris observations and analysis: Lee Nam-han sets world record (VIDEO)

SAMCHEOK, South Korea -- While working as an optician for about 35 years in Samcheok, Gangwon-do, South Korea, Mr. Lee Nam-han, Director of Hongchae Optics, has analyzed the iris of about 500,000 people (1 million eyes) from January 1980 until February 2014 to analyze the existence of illnesses, body type, job, personality, and spouse relationship, based on which Lee is working to treat diseases and promote health while
setting the new world record for the Most Iris observations and analysis, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest gathering of heart transplant recipients is 189 and was achieved by Duke Heart transplant program (USA) at the Washington Duke Inn, Durham, North Carolina, USA, on 7 September 2014.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Oldest practising doctor (ever), set by Dr. Leila Denmark (b. 1 February 1898, Portal, Georgia, USA) who retired in May 2001, aged 103, when she was the oldest practicing physician ever. Ten years later, at 113, Dr. Denmark is also the oldest person to have held the title of "Doctor."

   Director Nam-han Lee of Hongchae Optics has analyzed the iris of about 500,000 people (1 million eyes) from January 1980 until February 2014 to analyze the existence of illnesses, body type, job, personality, and spouse relationship, based on which Lee is working to treat diseases and promote health.

   While working as an optician for about 35 years in Samcheok, Gangwon-do, he accumulated research results, technological development, and know-how, based on which he offers warm help to the local community.

    As such, he was awarded many awards and thanksgiving plates from many social organizations and government agencies. Furthermore, he provides free preventive tests and health checkups through iris analyses in addition to eyesight tests to clients coming to his optical shop.

   Throughout his extensive experience in the optical business, he observed, measured, researched, and analyzed one million eyes, based on which he has carried out technological research in telling people's diseases through their iris.

   Lee educates students on the iris not based on medical practice but science, and he is often invited to give lectures not only in the educational field, but also private institutes that teach nursing, companies, and social organizations.

   Meanwhile, his book, "Shocking stories on eye information that anyone can easily share," (photo right) is used as a textbook for lifelong education at universities and to diagnose based on the iris in small- and medium-sized hospitals and some Oriental medicine clinics.

   "One can protect one's health and that of his or her family though iris studies," Lee says.

  "The iris is the black box of our body. Eyes show everything about a person. Through research based on expert data accumulated for 35 years, I developed an iris shooting camera and an iris security mouse that can tell people's health state."

    Lee is currently devoted to helping the local community. He is socially contributing and helping about 50 children suffering from heart diseases and about 100 patients suffering from cataract, as well as providing scholarships to about 500 students.
