Longest line of people using stethoscopes: Florida breaks Guinness World Records record

Winter Park, FL, USA -- Two hundred and seventy people stood in a single-file line in Winter Park to create a new World Record for the longest line of people using stethoscopes; the record was sponsored by Care America and Center for Diagnostic Imaging two Winter Park outpatient medical care companies,
according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the Oldest practising doctor (ever) was set by Dr. Leila Denmark (b. 1 February 1898, Portal, Georgia, USA) who retired in May 2001, aged 103, she was the oldest practicing physician ever.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest reunion of people born at the same hospital is 1,221 and was achieved by The Medical City and History (both Philippines), in Market Market, Taguig City, Philippines, on 12 April 2015.

     Setting the record was just one part of the larger fundraising efforts going on, said Lori Cummins, regional vice president for the Center for Diagnostic Imaging.

   "We want to challenge other healthcare givers across the country to beat our record and continue to raise money for the American Cancer Society," the 57-year-old said.

     The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
