The Guinness world record for the largest rubber chicken toss was achieved by 925 participants organised at Gilda's LaughFest event at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest serving of fried chicken; it weighed 1,076 kg (2,372 lb 2.72 oz) and was produced by NOAS FM (Japan) at the 4th Karaage Festival at AEON Mall Sanko in Nakatsu City, Oita, Japan
Organizers said 607 people donned fake chicken beaks and wore them for 11 minutes and 39 seconds, eclipsing the 10 minutes mandated by Guinness World Records.
A previous Guinness world record in the animal nose-wearing category didn't exist, so if all the paperwork checks out, those who busted a move to the "Chicken Dance" downtown set it.

The event served as the official kick-off to "Gilda's LaughFest," which runs through March 18 and is sponsored by the nonprofit Gilda's Club Grand Rapids. It honors the memory of comedian Gilda Radner.
Over the next 10 days there will be 200 performances -- many of them with free admission. Well known comedians including Whoopi Goldberg, Jim Gaffigan and Martin Short are scheduled to appear. Local comedians will also have the chance to perform.
Gilda's Club estimates LaughFest 2011 raised about $300,000, which is several times larger than past fundraisers.
