 Largest Tebowing: Minor League baseball fans set world record (VIDEO)

Lake Elsinore, CA, USA -- About 500 fans of the Lake Elsinore Storm, a minor league baseball team, hit the turf for this "night of fellowship," setting the world record for the Largest Tebowing, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness world record for the Largest Mambo Dance was set by 3,868 people who danced to Pérez Prado's Mambo No. 5 for five minutes at Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona, Spain.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest dance by couples; it consisted of 5,188 participants (2,599 couples) and was organised by Milka (Hungary) in Budapest, Hungary.

  On July 13, 2012 the Lake Elsinore Storm held the world's largest Tebowing event on the field during their post-game Night of Fellowship prayer.

  The fans then stayed on the field to watch the fireworks show that concluded the night.

  Tebowing.com defines "Tebowing" as "to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different."

  The Lake Elsinore Storm is a minor league baseball team in Lake Elsinore, California, USA. It is a Class A - Advanced team in the California League, and is a farm team of the San Diego Padres. The Storm plays its home games at Lake Elsinore Diamond.
