  Largest gathering of people dressed as Albert Einstein: Berkeley Elementary School breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

Berkeley, CA, USA -- Hundreds of elementary school students at Black Pine Circle School, basically the entire student body and anyone else the school could rope in, dressed up as Albert Einstein in an attempt to set a record; a total of 319 Einstein lookalikes were gathered at the record attempt, setting the new world record for the Largest gathering of people dressed as Albert Einstein, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Saint Patrick is 882 participants and was achieved by Saint Brigid's National School (Ireland) in Castleknock, Dublin, Ireland, on 14 March 2012.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Peter Pan; it was achieved by 280 participants, at an event organised by Goodman Masson in London, UK, on 29 August 2014.

    Einstein developed the general theory of relativity, a theory which stands tall alongside quantum mechanics as one of the two pillars of modern physics.

    Berkeley's Black Pine Circle published a tweet on their Twitter account which indicated that they were the 1st school in the U.S. to attempt an Einstein lookalike record.
