 Most spoons balanced on a human body: Etibar Elchyev sets world record (Video)

Tbilisi, Georgia -- Georgian Etibar Elchyev, a 39-year-old kick-boxing trainer, managed to secure 50 spoons around his neck and chest , setting the world record for the Most spoons balanced on a human body, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the most spoons balanced on the face is 17 and was achieved by Aaron Caissie (Canada) on the set of Lo Show dei Record, in Milan, Italy.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest spoons ensemble, which featured 1,352 participants led by Steve 'Spoon Man' Tankersley (all USA) playing along to 'Ragtime Annie', in Pekin, Indiana, USA .

  Etibar Elchyev, a 39-year-old kick-boxing trainer, had originally planned to break the Guinness World Record for balancing spoons on one's face - with 27 the current target to beat.

  However after a change of plan he decided to break the world record for balancing them on his body instead - managing to secure 50 around his neck and chest.

  'As you have seen I announced I would balance only 27 spoons but showed I could do 50 instead.'

  Elchyev is a kick-boxing trainer and discovered the magnetic property of his body less than a year ago. He even magnetized a car hood to his body, with a man sitting on it.
