  First human who can see in the dark: Nong Youhui sets world record (Video)

DAHUA, China -- Nong Youhui, a blue-eyed boy in China, stunned doctors with his ability to see in pitch black with eyes that glow in the dark; his 'cat's eyes' makes him to read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day , setting the world record for the First human who can see in the dark, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the largest eye-to-body ratio of any animal is set by the vampire squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis); its body reaches a maximum length of 28 cm (11 in) while its eyes can have a diameter of 2.5 cm (0.9 in).

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Longest time to keep the eyes popped out: 53.01 seconds, achieved by Keith Smith (USA).

  Doctors have studied Nong Youhui's amazing eyesight since his dad took him to hospital in Dahua, southern China, concerned over his bright blue eyes.

  Dad Ling said: "They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did."

  Medical tests conducted in complete darkness show Youhui can read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day.

  The boy's mother is interviewed briefly in the video and seems quite proud of her "Starchild" son.
