  Tallest domino toppled: Prudential Financial breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

Charlotte, NC, USA -- Prudential Financial toppled a 30-foot-tall domino stone, beginning with just a normal-size domino, to illustrate the long-term outcome of systematic retirement investing; by toppling the 30-foot domino, Prudential set a new world record for the tallest domino stone ever toppled , according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

 The Guinness World Records' record for the most people playing dominoes simultaneously is 3,344 in an event organised by Luis Alberto Ramirez Feliz (Dominican Republic) in Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest human mattress dominoes; it was achieved by 850 participants (all USA), at an event organised by La Quinta Inns & Suites, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

 By toppling the 30-foot domino, Prudential set a new world record for the tallest domino stone ever toppled.

   A Guiness Book of World Records official was on hand to verify the achievement, Charlotte Business Journal reported.

   Prudential built the domino chain on a scale to mimic the typical growth of retirement savings for an average person.

    The event was held outside the NASCAR Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte.
