Most people patting their heads and rubbing their tummies - Calne students set world record
 CALNE, Wiltshire, England--655 students at the John Bentley School in Calne broke the world record for the most people patting their heads and rubbing their tummies at the same time .

 655 students assembled on the tennis courts to simultaneously rub their tummies and pat their heads at the same time , smashing the previous Guinness World record of 350.

An 'adjudicator' from Guinness World Records was on hand to record that 655 people participated for a full minute, and it was all staged in aid of Children in Need.

  Organisers Head Girl Jenna Crosby and her team of seven Head students had asked for all participants to give a voluntary donation to charity, raising over £100.

   Miss Crosby, 18, said: "It was an amazing turnout with 655 people taking part. "We were so pleased to raise the money for Children in Need. We're still counting it, but we've definitely got over £100, and we want it all to go to the charity."

   Students took the record on Guinness World Records Day, which happens annually in November.
