The Guinness world record for the most people folding T-shirts simultaneously was 275 set at Westfield Shopping Centre, in London, UK.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest t-shirt - it measured 85.74 m (281.3 ft) in length and 55.14 m (180.9ft) in width and was achieved by Gildan displayed at the Centennial Park during the 40th annual CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Former Welsh international Robbie Savage, 36, managed to find space to wear shirts from all 72 Football League clubs, with strips varying from the modern day skin tight kits to the colour frenzied tops of the early 90s.

Robbie Savage was launching npower's Club 72 initiative , an interactive website allowing fans to chart how many of the 72 Football League stadiums they've visited in pursuit of the beautiful game and earn themselves virtual badges and the respect of their fellow fans.

Savage said: 'It was really hard and It got really heavy. When I got the 72nd shirt on I knew what it must have been like to be John Hartson when he played!

'They started off really small and then they got bigger and bigger to the point where you can't even move your arms!'

On the record attempt, Savage said:   'Naturally I'm hugely proud of my playing career and this is a great way to end it.'
