  Most expensive video game: Grid 2 Mono Edition breaks Guinness world record

LONDON, UK -- Running for $190,000 (£125,000), the Grid 2: Mono Edition is available for just one customer and includes the highly anticipated racing game Grid 2, a PS3 to play it on, a 170mph BAC Mono supercar - sporting a Grid 2 livery - and full driver race wear; it sets the new world record for the Most Expensive Video Game Commercially Available - Special Edition, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

 The Guinness world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as video games characters is 470 and was achieved by Academy of Interactive Entertainment (Australia) in Melbourne, Australia.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest marathon playing a football video game; it lasted 38 hr 49 min 13 sec and was achieved by Marco Ramos and Efraim Ie (both Portugal) who played Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (Konami, 2011) at the Alegro Alfragide Shopping Mall, Lisbon, Portugal .

  At $190,000 (£125,000), the Grid 2: Mono Edition includes the following:
  * A copy of Grid 2 for PlayStation 3 featuring bespoke packaging artwork
  * BAC Mono supercar in exclusive Grid 2 livery
  * A day at the BAC factory, which includes a factory tour and time spent with technicians, to customize the BAC Mono for size and specifications
   * A Grid 2: Mono Edition branded Bell Racing helmet
   * Race suit, boots & gloves all made to measure in BAC Mono and Grid 2 branding
   * A PlayStation 3 console

  The Grid 2: Mono Edition is available to pre-order at GAME in the UK.
