  Most Expensive Donut: Canadian bakery sets world record (VIDEO)

KELOWNA, Canada -- The World's Most Expensive Donut is made of 24k edible gold, edible diamonds, and aged chocolate balsamic vinegar; it's infused with ice wine from Rollingdale Winery; the decadent donut was crafted for the grand reopening of a longtime bakery in Kelowna, Dolicious Donuts & Coffee , in its new location and sets the new world record for the Most Expensive Donut, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the longest line of donuts (Berliner, in this case) spanned 561.4 m (1,841 ft 10 in) and was achieved by Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest serving of donuts; it weighed 667 kg (1,470 lb 7.68 oz) and was prepared by MEGA Alma-Ata Shopping and Entertainment Mall in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

      The World's Most Expensive Donut is made of 24k edible gold, edible diamonds, and aged chocolate balsamic vinegar. It's infused with ice wine from Rollingdale Winery.

    The decadent donut was crafted for the grand reopening of a longtime bakery in Kelowna, Dolicious Donuts & Coffee , in its new location.

    Proceeds from the first $100 donut sale, along with any other donations received, will go towards the creation of a local soup kitchen at Emmanuel Church in West Kelowna.

     Customers wanting to buy the World's Most Expensive Doughnut must place an order 24 hours in advance.

Dolicious Donuts & Coffee can be found at 3711 Elliott Road in West Kelowna. They're open 6 a.m to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday's from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
