"We were thinking to get the world record to Lougheed, Alberta to point out that there is more in the prairies than grain, cows and coyotes and that everybody – no matter where located - can set a world record with the right idea. Our clients are impressed and amazed about the idea of getting the world record to Lougheed, says Micha Hentschel, owner of the Lougheed Hotel Restaurant "Haus Falkenstein" in Lougheed, Alberta, Canada.
"My personal favorite is the green peppercorn cream Schnitzel and our TOP bestseller is the traditional Jägerschnitzel with a homemade mushroom-bacon sauce.
"For us it is not very difficult to make the Schnitzel, it is a kind of difficult to get the right ingredients. So we import all our spices from Germany to make it as authentic as possible. We import also the Chanterelles and the Green Peppercorns because they are not available in Alberta. White asparagus is a special order as well.

"We are proud that we have always fresh Schnitzel and all our sauces are made from scratch. This is the reason why we can have such a variety of different Schnitzel because people are coming from everywhere to eat the fresh made Schnitzel in our restaurant.
"We are proud that people are driving hours to get here. A trip from Calgary to Lougheed and back is a 7 hours ride just for eating fresh Schnitzel in Lougheed… "
