  Largest Ice Cream Scoop: Kemps Dairy breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

CEDARBURG, WI, USA--To commemorate its 100th anniversary, Kemps Dairy carved 733 containers worth of strawberry ice cream (equal to the length of a football field of the frozen dessert) into a gigantic scoop at the Cedarburg Strawberry Festival outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, breaking the Guinness World Records' record for the Largest Ice Cream Scoop, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most flavours of ice cream displayed together; it is 985 and was achieved by Michael and Matthew Casarez (both USA) at Crook's Palace Restaurant in Black Hawk, Colorado, USA.

  The Guinness World Records' record for the longest chain of people licking ice cream was achieved by 2,728 participants at an event organised by Morelli's of Portstewart Ltd. (UK) in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, UK.

   Carved by five nationally-ranked snow sculptors from Minnesota Big Snow, the Guinness World Record-setting Ice Cream Scoop weighed-in at 3,010 pounds, as verified by famed Guinness World Records' adjudicator Philip Robertson.

   Once the record was officially set, hundreds of Strawberry Festival attendees had the exclusive opportunity to actually eat a part of Kemps' historic scoop.
