  Largest cookery lesson: China breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

BEIJING, China -- The event from a square in Fusong county of Baishan, Northeast China's Jilin province, saw a total of 2,943 people take part in what is the World Records attempt for "most participants in a cookery lesson in 24 hours;" the activity broke the Guinness World Record set by an Australian man who gathered 2,150 people to cook simultaneously in May 16, 2014, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest cookery lesson involved 2,150 participants and was organised by Woolworths at Food Revolution Day 2014 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people cooking simultaneously; it was 2,311 and was organized by Nodogoshi Nama, Kirin Brewery Company, Limited at the Minna de Takoyaki Dai-Party at Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan.
