Biggest burger-world record set by Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar

 SOUTHGATE, MI, USA-- Steve Mallie , a Detroit-area restaurant owner has broken his previous world record for the " largest commercially available hamburger " with a 164.5 pounds burger.

The "Absolutely Ridiculous Burger," made with beef, bacon and cheese, was delivered on a 50-pound bun.

 Romeo Mallie, who helps manage the restaurant for his son, owner Stephen Mallie, said great food has always been a priority.

   "He always wanted to be in the restaurant business," Romeo Mallie said. "This is a new experience with us and we're having a ball."

Mallie's already serves 6- and 12-pound hamburgers.

The Mallie's world's biggest burger is on the menu and available to order for dine-in parties only. No delivery orders will be accepted at this time. It sells for $350, and orders require 24 hours' notice.
