Most Expensive Handbag: The Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse sets world record

The handbag is the second record-breaking attempt from the House of Mouawad. It was designed by Robert Mouawad and it took ten artisans no less than 8,800 hours to finish it.
Guinness World Records certified, 'The Very Sexy Fantasy Bra,' which was produced in collaboration with Victoria's Secret, as themost expensive bra ever madewith a value of $11mn.
The Guinness world record for thelargest handbagwas created by Picard and Klar in Offenbach, Germany, and measured 5 m (16 ft 4 in) in height, 6.5 m (21 ft 3 in) in length and 2.5m (8 ft 2 in) deep.

The World's Most Expensive Teddy Bear: a Steiff 'Louis Vuitton' teddy bear measuring 45 cm (17 in) sold for ?213,720.00 ($182,550; £125,831) at Christie's, Monaco.
A spokesperson explained that theWorld's Most Expensive Purseis inspired by the epic tale of romance, intrigue and incorporates 18kt gold, 4,517 diamonds -- 105 yellow, 56 pink and 4,356 colourless -- and weighs 381.92 carats.

Mouawad, the luxury jewellery founded by David Mouawad in 1890, opened its first store in the UAE at The Dubai Mall last November.
The brand counts royalty, Hollywood celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey among its clientele, who swear by its boutique items and magnificent haute jewellery.
TheMost Expensive Handbag In the Worldwill be on display at the stand over the coming days, before being taken to Saudi Arabia and the UAE next week.
