   Largest newspaper insert advertisement: Audi breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

TOKIO, Japan -- An "Audi Real Size" features a real-size image of an A3 Sportback model in giant poster format; the poster will be inserted into Japanese national Asahi Shinbun, which issues more than 6.8 million prints a day, setting the new world record for the largest newspaper insert advertisement, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest parade of Audi cars is 282 and was organised by Christian Strynar (DE), Georg Zimmermann (DE) and Martin Trümper (DE) in Hann. Muenden, Germany on 3 September 2005.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest advertisement in a periodical; it measured 402 cm (13 ft 2 in) wide by 270 cm (8 ft 10 in) tall and was created by ZINE travel (Norway). It was unveiled in Lillestrom, Norway, on 10 January 2009.

   The new promotional campaign "Audi Real Size" features a real-size image of an A3 Sportback model in giant poster format.

    "We not only want to bring beautiful cars to this beautiful country, we also want to advertise in a new way. We have, at Audi, the word progressiveness and we tried to find a progressive ways of communication," said Michael Lohe, Marketing director of Audi Japan.

   The poster will be inserted into Japanese national Asahi Shinbun, which issues more than 6.8 million prints a day.
