Largest Motorcycle Poker Run: Realities for Children breaks Guinness world record
Fort Collins, CO, USA -- Realities For Children Charities, a Larimer County organization serving children who have been abused or neglected, organized The Realities Ride & Rally which recorded 1,531 participants, setting the new world record for the Largest Motorcycle Poker Run,
while raising funds for children who have been abused or neglected, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/

The Guinness world record for the largest motorcycle poker run involved 586 participants and was achieved by Motorcycle Ride for Dad - Ottawa Chapter (Canada) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the tallest motorcycle; it was constructed by Gregory Dunham (USA)it is 3.429 m (11 ft 3 in) tall to the top of handlebars, 6.187 m (20 ft 4 in) long and weighs 2.948 tonnes (6,500 lb). It is powered by a 8.2 litre (502 cu in) V8 engine and has tyres that are 1.88 m (74 in) tall.
The Realities Ride & Rally annually admits thousands of participants and draws crowds of over 15,000 people during the course of the two day weekend.
The existing world record is 586 participants, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, but the Realities Ride recorded 1,531 participants, The Coloradoan reported.
We crushed it," said Craig Secher, Realities for Children Charities president and founder.
Secher said more than 380 volunteers assisted in the effort along with vitually every law enforcement agency in the region and five other nonprofit agencies.
