  Longest Side-by-Side UTV Jump: Ryan Piplic breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

St. George, UT, USA -- Polaris Factory UTV Racer Ryan Piplic' mission at the second annual Fuel Fest, in St. George, Utah was to break RJ Anderson's World Record Side-by-Side UTV Jump of 129.75 ft; to break the Guinness World Records' record, Piplic hit the ramp at more than 75 mph and accomplished the feat on his second jump of the night, sailing his FOX RZR XP 1000 155.8 feet and setting the new world record for the Longest Side-by-Side UTV Jump, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the longest UTV jump measures 14.53 m (47 ft 8 in) and was achieved by Junior Quisquis (USA) at Amago Raceway La Jolla Indian Reservation in Pauma Valley, California, USA.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest Rhino wheelie; it measured 1,544.97 m (960 ft) and was achieved by Andy Bell (USA) at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah, USA, on 18 November 2008 for the MTV show 'Nitro Circus'.

  Piplic's RZR XP 1000 UTV had minimal modification for the jump which included a Cognito cage, FOX shocks, Maxxis bighorn 2.0 tires, Beard seat and harness, Method Wheels, and motor work and exhaust from Sparks racing.

 "I wanted to jump as close to a stock Polaris RZR XP 1000 UTV to show the strength of a Polaris," said Piplic.

 "I don't recommend taking a stock vehicle and jumping 155 feet for safety reasons. But, the confidence I have in Polaris, Cognito and Fox shocks is what made this jump a success."

  Piplic added, "I would like to thank all of my sponsors for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to get a world distance record in a side-by-side.
