Fastest 100m on All Fours: Kenichi Ito breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

TOKYO, Japan -- Kenichi Ito has broken the Guinness World Records world record for the fastest 100m running on all fours; the 33-year old man from Tokyo sprinted the distance using both hands and feet in 15.71 seconds at the Komazawa Olympic Park Athletic Field in Setagaya, Tokyo,
setting the new world record for being the Fastest 100m on All Fours, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the fastest 100 m wearing clogs is 16.27 seconds and was achieved by Andre Ortolf (Germany) at the Ernst-Lehner Stadium in Augsburg, Germany, on 25 October 2013.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the fastest tightrope walk over 100 m; it is 38.86 seconds and was achieved by Aisikaier Wubulikasimu (China) in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, on 6 June 2013.

    Kenichi Ito has broken the Guinness World Records world record for the fastest 100m running on all fours.

   The 33-year old man from Tokyo sprinted the distance using both hands and feet in 15.71 seconds at the Komazawa Olympic Park Athletic Field in Setagaya, Tokyo.

   Ito is no beginner; he has broken the record three times: in 2008 (18.58 seconds), in 2012 (17.47 seconds) and in 2013 (16.87 seconds). In 2014, he was bettered by Katsumi Tamakoshi who finished the 100m in 15.86 seconds, but Ito managed to shave off 0.1 seconds this year. 

    He earned the nickname 'monkey man' after spending several years on how the animals move.
