 Most expensive belt buckle: Roland Iten breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- The Roland Iten Calibre R822 Predator is made from 18-carat white gold and titanium and is adorned with 387 baguette-cut and round-cut diamonds, which total 14.15 carats; it weighs 145g, with the gold making up 90g of this and will set buyers back a staggering £350,000 (USD 550,400),
setting the new world record for the Most Expensive Belt Buckle, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest belt buckle is 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in) tall, 2.59 m (8 ft 6 in) wide, achieved by ESPN in partnership with Kelly Graham (Both USA) at "ESPN The Magazine's NEXT BIG Weekend" in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, on 3 February 2011.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Largest collection of belt buckles, set by Chester Lindgren (Canada) who has 1,642 different belt buckles that he has collected since 1974. Chester stopped collecting buckles in 2004.

    This extravagant accessory is also made out of titanium and features 167 components - all with self-cleaning mechanisms. As well as this, the swanky buckle comes complete with 387 VVS1+ quality baguette-cut and round-cut diamonds which total 14.15 carats.

  The belt weighs 145g, with the gold making up 90g of this, and has a price of 450,000 Swiss francs, excluding shipping and taxes.
