  Most Christmas Sweaters Worn Simultaneously: Guillermo Rodriguez breaks Guinness World Records (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES, CA, USA -- Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez, the parking lot security guard often featured throughout the show's run, broke the Guinness World Records' record for the Most Christmas Sweaters Worn Simultaneously -- forever slipping into his place in history; Guillermo Rodriguez wore more Christmas sweaters than anyone else ever recorded: 25, setting the new world record for Most Christmas Sweaters Worn Simultaneously, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest jumper/sweater has a chest measurement of 15.11 m (49 ft 6 in), a body length of 18.49 m (60 ft 7 in) and a sleeve length of 15.88 m (52 ft 1 in) and was made by Bayrampasa Tekstilci ve Sanayici Is Adamlari Dernegi (Turkey), in Istanbul, Turkey, on 8 February 2013. The sweater is 95% acrylic and 5% wool. It took 15 people 45 days to make. The horizontal length with the sleeves is 47.11 m (154 ft 6 in).

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most professional NBA jerseys worn at once; it was 35 by Michael Garcia (USA) at the NBA All-Star Jam Session 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA, on 25 February 2012.

    "I feel like sausage," said Guillermo only 17 sweaters in.

   Walking out onto the stage before donning the final sweater that would become the world record, Guillermo looked swollen and his arms pulled stiff.

   The 43-year-old is a talk show personality who rose to fame while working as a parking lot security guard at the Hollywood Blvd. studios for American late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! He continues to have that title, but he performs nightly as Kimmel's sidekick. He is often sent to award shows to represent Jimmy Kimmel on the Red Carpet. He is also a good sport to help Kimmel out with stunts on the show.

   If you try to attempt to beat this record yourself, Guinness did have some rules for the contest:
  - All sweaters must be commercially available.
  - The sweaters cannot be adjusted in any way.
  - All sweaters must be pulled down below the waist.
   - Allowed only one assistant to put them on.
