  Most people performing Anna Kendrick's 'Cups' song: Canadian School breaks Guinness World Records' record (VIDEO)

Drummondville, Canada -- At Saint-Bernard school in Drummondville, Quebec, 1500 students from kindergarten to high school, plus all the staff, got together and broke the world record for most people performing Anna Kendrick's 'Cups' song (Pitch Perfect's 'When I'm Gone') at the same time, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest singing lesson involved 6,651 participants and was achieved by Sweet Adelines International during the 63rd Annual Sweet Adelines International Convention and Competition at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

  The Guinness World Record for the largest song and dance routine was achieved by 4,500 participants at an event organised by the Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department of the Government of Gujarat (India) at Sardar Patel Stadium, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

  Collége Saint-Bernard in Drummondville, Quebec made a new world record with their 1,500 chorus of kids and adults of all ages singing "Cups" by Anna Kendrick.

   Anna Kendrick's song "Cups" is from the movie Pitch Perfect, and quickly became a favorite for many people as the song got put on the radio and a new music video was made of Kendrick singing the song. The song went double platinum, and peaked at number six on the billboard top 100 this year.



The Guinness Book of World Records required that at least 250 people take part and that an unedited video be provided.
