  Most people bouncing paddle balls: 356 paddleballers set world record (Video)

DAVIDSON, NC, USA -- During the 2011 Hurricane Hugo Juggling Festival, organized by the Lake Norman Jugglers, organizers managed to gather 356 people young and old, from Davidson and beyond, to set the World Record for the most people bouncing paddle balls at one time, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

  The previous Guinness world record for the most people dressed as sunflowers was 116 set at The Nursery on the Green in London, UK.

Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people dressed as Robin Hood: 1,119 at Castle Green, Nottingham, UK.

  Volunteers handed out free paddles to 300 people and others brought their own.   Gatekeepers counted 356 people entering the paddleball pen, surrounded by plastic orange safety fencing.
