 Most sausages produced in one minute: Liam O'Hagan broke Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)

LONDON, UK -- Liam O'Hagan broke the Guinness World Record for the most number of sausages produced in one minute; Mr O'Hagan achieved the record from his production unit in Sidlesham, near Chichester, making 44 sausages in one minute – beating the previous Guinness World Records record of 36, according to the World Record Academy .

The Guinness World Records' record for the most sausages produced in one minute is 36 and was achieved by Alastair Paul from A & I Quality Butcher (both UK), at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, on 20 June 2015. All sausages were at least 4 inches long and fully linked.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest vegetarian sausage; it measured 101 m (331 ft 4 in) and was achieved by Metzgerei Schnitzel e.V. (Germany) in Dusseldorf, Germany, on 8 May 2010. The long "sausage" was barbecued entirely in one piece.

   In British sausage week,  Liam O'Hagan of O'Hagan's Sausages has attempted to make the most sausages in a minute at his production unit.  

    The number to beat was 36 in Scotland, but he completed 44 seven inch sausages in one minute.    

    Timekeepers from Chichester Athletics Club were there with the stopwatches as he filled and linked his pork, ale and watercress sausages.
