  Largest chicken nugget: Empire Kosher Poultry breaks Guinness World Record (VIDEO)

SECAUCUS, N.J., USA -- Empire Kosher, the country's largest kosher poultry vendor, is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year; to mark the occasion, the company decided to break the Guinness World Records' record for the biggest chicken nugget; their giant nugget weighs 51.1 pounds and measures 3.25 feet long and 2 feet wide, setting the new world record for the Largest chicken nugget, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/ .

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest serving of fried chicken weighed 1,076 kg (2,372 lb 2.72 oz) and was produced by NOAS FM (Japan) at the 4th Karaage Festival at AEON Mall Sanko in Nakatsu City, Oita, Japan.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the Largest collection of chickens, set by Cecil and Joann Dixon (both USA) have a collection of 6,505 chicken-related items, as of June 2006, that they have amassed for 40 years.

  The company it took six people more than 3 hours to create the nugget, which is larger than 720 regular-sized nuggets combined.

  A team of six people took more than three hours to cook it up, using a 1892-litre fryer and more than a kilo of breading, The Jersey Journal reports.
